As a synesthete, Bon can portray a personal take on sounds and in 2009, Bon moved slightly off centre from the Urban (Pop) tag keeping the basics and techniques learned there, the recycling of materials to make the piece out of anything that allows, the use of wheatpaste and paper, spray cans teamed with acrylics, all to give a different approach to a more abstract work. Still keeping the sci-fi feeling and taking a step towards sensory overload based on symmetry and/or texture.

Bon Nielsen is one of the least known contemporary authors of poetry in the world. Born and raised in Europe, she currently lives in the low Mojave desert in California.
With hundreds of poems and short stories written by the age of 16, she was forced to destroy them and quit painting and writing altogether. Bon picked it back up at the age of 27 full force, when she returned to her early abilities as a synesthete painter and making political commentary illustrations for financial publications based on the sci-fi heroes of her childhood.
Writing was a natural step she was unable to postpone for long.

Mohave Bones Collections
Bon Nielsen is a European poet & painter who found herself falling in love with the Mojave Desert, where she moved at first sight.
She finds as much inspiration in Wanderlust as in the discoveries and freeplay that involves applying her knowledge acquired through years of painting and working with the available elements.
Bon's MOHAVE BONES Collection is her first showing of home comforts in combination with her Wall Art, Poems, Illustrations and Organic Sculptures.
Juxtaposed, cubed, twice exposed, this is Bon in her element.
Man At A Bar
Indian Ink Drawing
Bon's urban work can be found in the streets of London, Paris, Los Angeles, Seville and Sao Paulo. An early love for sci-fi created all sorts of mischievous Barbarellas out and about town. All kinds of alien girls are first seen pasted on walls here and there before they are mutated to be part of (Street-Art) gallery walls.
Bon still paints/pastes on walls when mixed with the right crowds however all proceeds from her commercial 'Street' Art and illustration work go to Z O E - a wonderful charity fighting to end child trafficking.
